Über uns

EUROPA DONNA DEUTSCHLAND entsteht mit Unterstützung von EUROPA DONNA - The European Breast Cancer Coalition als deutsche Stimme innerhalb der europäischen Brustkrebspatientinnen-Bewegung. Wir bringen Frauen mit Brustkrebs, Angehörige, Unterstützerinnen und Unterstützer zusammen, um Patientinnenrechte, Mitbestimmung und eine bessere Versorgung sichtbar zu machen.

Unser Ziel ist ein vertrauenswürdiger Verein, der informiert, verbindet und Interessen vertritt: für Früherkennung und Prävention, für verständliche Informationen, für hochwertige Behandlung und Nachsorge und für die Sichtbarkeit von metastasiertem Brustkrebs. In der Gründungsphase bauen wir dafür die Vereinsstrukturen, Mitgliederprozesse und digitalen Werkzeuge auf, die später eine verlässliche und transparente Arbeit ermöglichen.

EUROPA DONNA GERMANY is being established with the support of EUROPA DONNA – The European Breast Cancer Coalition as the German voice within the European breast cancer patient movement. We bring together women with breast cancer, their families, and supporters to raise awareness of patient rights, patient involvement, and improved care.

Our goal is to be a trustworthy organization that informs, connects, and advocates for: early detection and prevention, understandable information, high-quality treatment and follow-up care, and greater visibility for metastatic breast cancer. During the founding phase, we are establishing the organizational structures, membership processes, and digital tools that will later enable reliable and transparent work.

Wir setzen uns dafür ein, dass betroffene Frauen gut informiert sind, ihre Rechte kennen und Entscheidungen über Diagnostik, Behandlung, Studien, Nachsorge und Lebensqualität auf Augenhöhe treffen können. Dazu gehören Austausch unter Mitgliedern, Veranstaltungen, Mentoring und verständliche Inhalte ebenso wie die spätere Vertretung gemeinsamer Anliegen gegenüber Fachwelt, Öffentlichkeit und Institutionen.

EUROPA DONNA DEUTSCHLAND soll ein Ort werden, an dem persönliche Erfahrung, medizinisch fundierte Information und solidarisches Engagement zusammenkommen. Wir möchten Betroffene stärken, die Arbeit anderer Initiativen respektvoll ergänzen und den europäischen Gedanken von EUROPA DONNA in Deutschland mit Leben füllen.

We are committed to ensuring that women affected by breast cancer are well-informed, aware of their rights, and able to make decisions regarding diagnosis, treatment, clinical trials, follow-up care, and quality of life as equal partners. This includes peer-to-peer support, events, mentoring, and accessible content, as well as advocating for shared concerns among experts, the public, and institutions.

EUROPA DONNA GERMANY aims to be a place where personal experience, medically sound information, and a spirit of solidarity come together. We want to empower those affected, respectfully complement the work of other initiatives, and bring the European vision of EUROPA DONNA to life in Germany.
